About
From a young girl I was motivated by making things. I loved colour and texture and drawing. It hasn’t changed.
I studied as a Visual Arts teacher and kept creating.
My passion is to encourage faith and creativity in all ages and stages of life.
As an artist I love to explore the landscape in the textured colours and objects that create memories. Often my artwork focuses on close-ups of details that form into abstract compositions. In making and using paper I find the process leads me to incorporate found objects like maps, feathers, lichen, leaves, rusty items and lace.
My general interests are in family, community, Art, travel, singing, reading, theatre, cats and craft.
